The Conero Park
A natural jewel of the Marche region
The Conero Park represents one of the most fascinating and preserved natural areas along the Italian Adriatic coast. Located in the province of Ancona, this regional park spans over 6,000 hectares around the promontory of Mount Conero, offering a unique landscape where Mediterranean vegetation meets crystal-clear sea. Its limestone cliffs, rising up to 572 meters above sea level, create a spectacular contrast with the hidden bays and white pebble beaches that characterize the coastline. The park preserves an extraordinary biodiversity, with rare plant species and wildlife finding refuge along trails winding through forests of holm oak, juniper, and strawberry trees, offering visitors breathtaking views of the Adriatic and the cities of Ancona, Numana, and Sirolo.
