Catch the wind

On the Conero Riviera there are excellent spots for gliding with your board over the waves in a fabulous natural setting. The south coast of Marcelli, open and with favourable winds blowing from the north, is ideal for windsurfing and for those who want to start practising this sport. Other spots can be found in Sirolo at the "Sassi Neri" beach and in Portonovo, right in front of the small church of S. Maria or at the Torre beach, perfect spots for both surfing and windsurfing with an E/SE wind base, with winds of 15 to 30 knots from lunchtime until sunset.
