The Conero promontory represents a perfect stop for the migratory flow of many species of birds between the Triestine “carso” and the Gargano, along the north-west / south-east direction. Many species can be carefully identified among them, such as wonderful peregrine falcons (it represents a real proud for the Park), white storks, grey herons, lodolai (types of falcon) and mignattai (types of ibis). Sometimes you could also see a black heron and a crane. Finally kestrels and buzzards have to be mentioned for their importance among sedentary species.
