Numana is at 43°30'40 " of Latitude North and at 13°37'17 " of Longitude East and it spreads out on a 10,74 square kilometres surface.
We are approximately 20 Km far from Ancona (chief town of the Marche region), direction South, in the core of the Conero area.
The flat Adriatic coast is divided into two parts by the Mount Conero, which gives the name to the coast (Riviera del Conero), creating a unique mix of mountain and sea. 572 meters of Mediterranean maquis drop directly to beautiful shores, creating a wonderful atmosphere, ideal for the ones who love a full contact with nature. Mount Conero is rich in breathtaking panoramas and marvellous views and thanks to its conformity and geographic position it creates a context of pure nature. The Conero park was founded in 1987 and today it’s a unique naturalistic protected area; it includes many flora and fauna species, such as strawberry-trees, brooms, holm-oaks, pine-trees, etc. and many bird species.

Numana is one of the luckiest villages of the Riviera del Conero because it benefits of the presence of such an evocative coastline and it can also enjoy wide beaches of fine pebbles, that can easily and comfortably be reached by everybody.

Motorway – A 14 (Bologna-Taranto)
- coming from the North: Ancona south exit;
- coming from the South: Loreto – Porto Recanati exit;

By train:

By plane:

Falconara airport
It is about 20 km far from the station. You can take a train from the airport (Castelferretti station, just in front of the airport) until Ancona station, rent a car or take a taxi. Then you can reach Numana by bus (Reni buses) or by taxi.
